One of the biggest factors in people booking a hostel on their backpacking adventure is the reviews the hostel has received, seeing the comments other travellers have left helps the adventurous traveller determine if the youth hostel is going to suit their needs.
One issue Footprints identified was the fact most hostel reviews only scratch the surface of the hostel being reviewed and often did not take into consideration the likes and dislikes of the individual. We have addressed this by making the review process slightly longer and added questions we think will ultimately lead to a more useful review system.
